Same day! Finish an NMLS-approved course before 10:00 p.m. Central Time and we enter your credits with NMLS that very same calendar day (for a live class, that's the day the class ends). Your certificate is ready right away too, so download it from your dashboard the moment you finish! Once NMLS confirms your hours, you'll also get a "credits reported" email. Two quick heads-ups: NMLS shows dates in Eastern Time, so a credit we enter late in the evening can show the next day's date in your NMLS record, and the one thing that can hold your credits up is an NMLS ID or legal name that doesn't match NMLS, so double-check yours when you register! No! Federal law doesn’t let you take the same approved course two years in a row. This is why we author a new course every year, ensuring that you are always getting the latest, most up to date content, and never have a problem using us year after year!

Credit banking is the process of your education hours reporting to your NMLS record. Your renewal can only be approved once your hours are banked, so we bank your hours the same calendar day you finish, for every course completed before 10:00 p.m. Central Time! As far as fees go, we don't believe in adding any surprise or hidden fees to your course, so we simply cover the credit banking fees ourselves!

Your renewal can only be approved once your CE is done and your hours are banked with NMLS. The SMART deadline set by the NMLS is the target for finishing CE and submitting your renewal in most states, ensuring there is enough time to process it. It isn’t a legal cutoff, but a renewal that comes in later may not be approved by December 31. A license that isn’t renewed by December 31 expires, and you can’t originate in that state until the license is reinstated, and your renewal approved. If you still owe CE for a past year, our NMLS-approved Late CE makes it up!
