Terms & Policies

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you register for a course, create an account, or contact us for support. This may include your name, NMLS ID, email address, phone number, and payment information. We also automatically collect certain technical information about your device and how you interact with our website, including IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our educational services and website
  • Process transactions and send related payment confirmations
  • Register and report completed NMLS education credits as required by the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System
  • Send course confirmations, scheduling information, and relevant updates
  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
  • Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve course quality
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions or other unauthorized activity

Catalyst Mortgage Solutions does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Information may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With the NMLS, as required for the reporting of completed education credits
  • With third-party payment processors (Payments AI, PayPal, Stripe) solely for the purpose of completing transactions
  • As required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of Catalyst Mortgage Solutions, its users, or the public

Catalyst Mortgage Solutions retains student records — including course completion data, attendance records, identity verification records, Rules of Conduct acknowledgments, and End-of-Course Survey responses — for a minimum of five (5) years, as required by NMLS regulations. These records will be made available to the NMLS upon request. Payment information is not retained on Catalyst Mortgage Solutions servers.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you provide information at your own risk.

We use a small number of cookies and similar device identifiers to keep the site working and to understand how it is used in aggregate. The cookies we set fall into the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary — authentication session, current brand context, cart contents, and shopping-credit redemption. The site cannot function without these.
  • Functional preferences — your dark/light mode choice, the panel you last viewed inside the dashboard, and tutorial-walkthrough dismissal flags. Clearing these only removes personalization, not access.
  • Privacy-friendly analytics — Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights record aggregate pageview counts and performance timings using a daily-rotating anonymized identifier. No persistent cookies are set, no individual visitor profile is built, and no data is shared with advertising networks.
  • Product analytics — to understand how the site is used (which pages people find, where visitors get stuck, and what isn't working), we record the pages and dashboard sections you view, your device type, and how you arrived (for example a search engine or a link). For signed-in members this activity is associated with your account; for signed-out visitors we set a first-party 'anon_id' cookie containing only a random identifier — no name, email, or cross-site data — solely to connect the pages of a single visit. This information stays with us, is never sold or shared with advertising networks, and is used only to improve the site.
  • Marketing attribution — if you arrive via a referral code or a UTM-tagged link, we briefly persist that attribution in a short-lived cookie so the referring loan officer is credited for any account you create. These cookies expire in 30 days and contain only the attribution code, not personal information.
  • Payment iframes — during checkout, our payment processor (Stripe, PayPal, or Payments AI) sets its own cookies inside its payment-form iframe solely to complete your transaction. We do not have access to those cookies; they are governed by the relevant processor's privacy policy.

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information held by Catalyst Mortgage Solutions, subject to our legal retention obligations. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information provided below. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe. Note that certain information may need to be retained to comply with NMLS recordkeeping requirements regardless of a deletion request.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including our payment processors and the NMLS portal. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites before providing personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
